An Interior Decorator will provide any or all of the following services:

  1. Floor plan sketching.
  2. Furniture and accent selections and placement.

Why Do We Charge for Interior Design Services?

An Interior Designer is a consultant and their primary goal is to help you design a plan that meets all of your objectives. They must remain objective keeping your best interest at heart. Whenever necessary they will go outside their organization to find you services and products that best fit your needs. Charging a fee allows the Interior Designer to focus on quality service rather than focusing on selling product.

Why Will Our Competitors Offer Interior Design Services for Free?

We are not aware of any furniture stores that provide Interior Design services for free. The truth is that they provide Interior Decorating services for free. True, they often call their services Interior Design services or Design services but if you use the definitions provided above, you will see that they are really only offering Interior Decorating services at no charge.
